Stat/ Note/ Equipment Option that needs to be edited: When duplicate unit is chosen Grenadiers come in as 180/120 points.

How it currently looks in AB: 180/120 points.

Reason for the change: Strangest thing… If the Command SMG Panzerknacker option is chosen and the duplicate unit right click is chosen. Unit comes in for 180 points if three squads 120 if 2 squads was chosen. Once option is unchecked it appears as 200/140 as normal.

Ok, the reason this happens is that the sub-unit HQ Section does not have code that allows it to add the panzerknacker when it is created at run time. Basically, to have this work correctly, I have to code it twice: once in the option and once in the unit. I personally never use duplicate unit to create another unit. Do you think this is frequently used?

If it is something that really needs fixed, it will need fixed on basically every German unit that can take a panzerknacker/panzerfaust and who know how many other options. My instinct is to tell people not to use duplicate unit or to tell them they need to check their options when they do.

Tough question.

Can it be coded going forward?

I personally use that option every time I create a list. But then again I almost always use Infantry and I almost always max them out.

It can, my reluctance is that it basically will require me to code everything twice. And for some reason, I don't like the idea of doubling my work :) This seems like something to post on Wolf Lair's support site.

I checked with Lone Wolf. They said it is an error in their duplication script and should be fixed when they release their next upgrade.
